From the time I arrived at Pump I felt that I was going to be looked after - there was someone at the front desk, which meant I did not have to look in workshops, stores and the like to find someone to offer assistance. Everyone knew what I was talking about from a technical perspective, and, despite having a lot on, every effort was made to find a way of getting my problems sorted out. I was shown options, given the costs, and had lead times explained. I could not believe it - service that I had not experienced in a very long time.

Both of the issues I had brought to Pump were dealt with quickly, efficiently, and to my absolute satisfaction. Having arrived with an urgent issue, I was that Impressed that I placed an order for two new pumps to fix up a far less important concern - simply because it was so good dealing with everyone I came in contact with in the operation. I’d like to provide this reference on a personal basis. I work for Barminco at Dugald River Mine but I don’t represent Barminco itself. I have often dealt with PUMP for mine dewatering pumps as well as Drillmech/Snort pumps and parts. While working for Barminco at Ernest Henry Mine we trialed a few 8kW pumps from PUMP as we were unhappy with the performance we were getting from our regular supply. Not only did the new pumps last much longer, but the repair and rental prices were better as well.

PUMP provided great response time and good communication with all pump repairs. Costs were clearly defined and if a job was deemed fair wear and tear, PUMP absorbed some costs where applicable. I found this much better than the backhanded service we were getting from our other supplier.

PUMPs products are also being continually developed and upgraded. We have recently seen a few new parts go into the pumps which have increased durability and subsequently the mine time out of each pump. PUMP has helped us with technical advice on how to limit damage to the pumps through misuse, as well as ideas on how to better utilize the pumps we hire. I have dealt with a range of different mine dewatering pumps and pump suppliers and I personally prefer PUMP for its superior service and quality.

Much to their help, we were able to get the Jumbo operational again in a very quick time.
